Lucky Lucky Lavender

First let me just start off by saying, I am sorry that I don't post every day like some of these other bloggers.  I've just decided that a blog post is better late than never, but I don't think very many people pay attention to the time stamp on a blog post.. I do have some wicked awesome things planned out, and that hopefully includes a giveaway, so just bare with me here!

PS. yes, I did say "wicked."  It's what we do here in New England!

I know what you're thinking, just get on with the post already!! Alright alright, here we go!

So I thought it'd be fun to start using up some of my polishes that I wouldn't normally use.  I know some people are doing lacquer lottery type things, but I just decided to do it myself, and do review type posts on the polish I pick!  These are just going to be random posts in between other major more exciting posts!

First, I started off by going to Random.org which I am sure we all have heard of by now.
This is what I got!
177 doesn't seem like a lot in the polish world.  I have A LOT more than 177 polishes if you count striper polishes, the dupes, the bottles I can't open,  and the bottles that I need to clean out to franken my own polish!  Add all those up and it's close to 300.

And the color I got was..................................

................ wait for it!!! ..................

OPI - Lucky Lucky Lavender

And on my nails...
You can see it dries a little lighter on the nails than it looks in the bottle.

Lucky Lucky Lavender is a beautiful creme based polish.  It's a Lavender color but more on the pink side.  This polish was opaque and two coats and went on very smoothly.  Lucky Lucky Lavender was made part of OPI's Hong Kong Collection for Spring 2010.

Thank you all so much for reading!  Let me know if you enjoy these types of posts, and I will definitely do more of them!  I'm sure I'll discover polishes in my collection I haven't worn before that I LOVE.

xoxo
Michelle

*This polish was purchased by me with my own money.  This review is strictly based on my own opinions.  I was not asked to do this review by OPI.*

Mocha and Pink

Hello lovelies!!

HAPPY HUMP DAY!!
I hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Today I have a manicure that one of YOU suggested to me!

Now I wasn't really sure how I would like this color combination on my nails, but it was kind of cute, and I could definitely work with these two together in the future!

She had asked if I could a mocha nail, with a light pink French Tip.  So here is that creation:

This pink I used was a little tough to work with, but I think that's every color used for a French Tip ever.

Essie: Good Morning Hope
Essie: Mink Muffs

Thanks for reading everyone!  If you have any suggestions I will do my best to make them look good for y'all!!
Have a great rest of the day!

xoxo Michelle

St. Patrick's Day Water Marble Tutorial

Well well well, good evening everyone!

I got a request to do a tutorial for this Manicure I posted yesterday.
You can see that post Here
Because I love my followers and want to complete all of the requests I get, I figured I'd give it a shot.  This was my first tutorial ever, and I now know what I need to fix for the next time I do a tutorial.  Here's the video, enjoy!

It wasn't the best, but you can get the general idea of what was done.  I promise the next time I do a tutorial it will be a lot better!

And this is how it looked when I was finished.  I was feeling lazy and didn't feel like making it perfectly cleaned up, and you can see that I got a pesky air bubble, but once again, you get the idea. (;

China Glaze: Gaga For Green
OPI: Jade Is The New Black
Essie: Stylenomics
Base and top coat

Just like how I said in the video, if you have any questions about Water Marbling, comment on the video, ask below, or on my Facebook Page and I will put together a FAQ video on Water Marbling!

And if you have any requests, don't be afraid to ask, and I'll get them done!

Have a great night!!  I'll talk to y'all tomorrow!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Almost..

Good Afternoon, everybody!

I hope you all are having a fabulous Wednesday!  I think I'm seeing the sun today for the first time in my entire life! (That might be a little exaggerated)

But anyway, you asked for it, so now you got it!  St. Patrick's Day Manicures!  I told you I would do two for making you wait an extra day, but here they are, finally!

It's hard to see, but that's supposed to be a four leave clover!  You can find my tutorial Here.

This gradient didn't come out as smoothly as it could have, but I love how it did come out.  And I figured I'd be different and leave just a plain accent nail.
Ignore the fact that these bottles are very messy.   Not all of my polish is like that.  I used these three colors for  both Manicures.
China Glaze: Gaga For Green
OPI: Jade is the New Black
Essie: Stylenomics
And these are the base and top coat I used.

I really hope that you enjoyed these two looks.  If you didn't, stick with me, you'll like the next one.  (:  If you have any requests for a manicure, technique, review, or anything else, let me know and I'll put it on my list to do.

Thank you SO much for reading!! Have a great day!
xoxo Michelle

Announcement

Hi everyone!

How's your day going?  Mine is going well, I feel like I've gotten a lot done even though I've sat in front of my computer all morning! haha!
I've been finishing up editing and uploading three different sets of photos.  And now I'm writing this, and next I'll be starting my St. Patrick's Day Manicures for you!

Here is a sample of the pictures I've been working on.

A turtle at a Pet Store I visited last weekend.
A Judo Seminar with a friend of mine who is currently training to be in the 2016 Rio Olympics

This was taken at another Pet Store.

But you didn't come here for those.  Time for the Announcement.

*Can I get a drum roll please?!*
So, I'm going to start what I'm going to call "Third Thursday with a Theme."
That means every Third Thursday of the month I'm going to do a really cool nail art that continues with my theme.
I started this Blog because I have a really cool (to me, anyway) theme for nail art that I wanted to start, and I thought this would be a good way to show it off.  If you read the About Me section of the blog, you would know that I love animals.  And you could probably tell from the pictures above.  So the theme obviously has to do with some sort of animal.

Instead of me telling you, lets see if you guys can guess what animal the theme is going to be.  Write it in the comments below and I'll let you all know on the 21st when the first themed Mani is going to take place!

Now, off to let the dogs out, and get started on my St. Paddies Manicures!
Have a good day!
